Set Windows Vista to Automatically Defrag
Defragging your computer is very important to keep your computer running smoothly. Setting Window's Vista to automatically defrag either weekly or monthly will ensure that the defragging is done and at a time that you most likely do not use the computer.
Setting Window's Vista to automatically Defrag and run a virus scan is the best way to keep your computer running at top performance.
Step 1
Click Start
Click All Programs
Find and click Accessories,
Click System Tools
Click Disk Defragmenter
Step 2
Click on the box that says Run on a schedule.
Click Modify the schedule to suit your need and when you most likely won't be using the computer.
Step 3
Click OK.
Window Vista is now set to automatically defrag your computer for you. Defragging your computer will help keep your computer running at top speed. It just like putting away all the toys when we are doing playing.
